JOHN Kear has provided an update on the Bradford Bulls squad over the weekend, and it is a mixed bag of news.
Speaking to West Yorkshire Radio, he confirmed that Danny Brough had had a successful operation on his torn bicep injury.
Despite this, the veteran half-back, so vital to Bulls' strong start to the season, is still expected to be out of action for around another 10 weeks.
There was also some positive news on Aaron Murphy and Dan Fleming, who should be available to face Widnes on Sunday after completing their coronavirus self-isolation period.
But sadly, talented hooker Tom Doyle is having to isolate now, and will miss that Widnes clash.
Another man who won't be playing against Widnes is loanee Ellis Robson, who has returned to Warrington.
Kear is hopeful that this will only be temporary, as a result of the Combined Nations All-Stars Game this Friday, and said he will look into the possibility of bring Robson back to Bradford as soon as possible.
