CITY'S academy have announced they are retiring the number of tragic teen Tomi Solomon.
Thirteen-year-old Tomi was a promising young footballer in the Bantams set-up, but he sadly died after getting into difficulty in the River Calder earlier this month.
His life was celebrated at a service on Friday, and the following day City's academy made their heartfelt gesture.
They confirmed that Tomi's number eight shirt was being retired across all age categories, so it will "remain with him forever".
