John Kear's men will visit Hunslet to open up the new year in their second match of the club's pre-season schedule, on Saturday January 5 at 3:00 at the South Leeds Stadium.

Hunslet have several ex-Bulls amongst their ranks going into the 2020 season including Vila Halafihi.

Bradford put out their reserve side the last time the two sides met at the start of 2019.

The fixture sees the fulfilment of the agreed transfer fee that saw George Flanagan depart the Betfred League One side for Odsal in early 2018.

The Hunslet board expressed thanks to the Bulls for their assistance in scheduling the fixture: “It must be said that the intent and understanding shown by Eric Perez, Mark Sawyer, Nigel Wood and John Kear in scheduling this fixture is genuinely appreciated.

“They have shown a sincere effort to honour a long-standing agreement and make room for this in match in a busy pre-season for their club.

“We look forward to welcoming The Bulls club and supporters and will be providing our fantastic hospitality packages to welcome in the new year with a great afternoon of rugby.”

A Bradford Bulls Spokesperson said: “We are pleased to link up with another traditional West Yorkshire club and test ourselves against a good outfit ahead of the 2020 season.

"It will be a great opportunity for the Bradford supporters to have a look at the squad ahead of the new campaign and hope they travel in decent numbers and create a fantastic atmosphere for a West Yorkshire derby.”

Tickets cost just £10 for Adults, with Concessions gaining entry for just £5 – Under-16s receive FREE entry.

Hospitality can be purchased at a cost of £35.
