Steve Menzies insists the Bulls’ campaign is far from over.

Despite helping to plot their downfall on Saturday, the Catalan star has urged his former club not to lose faith.

Menzies saw enough during the Dragons’ 34-28 win to convince him the Bulls can still sneak into the Super League play-offs.

“I think they’re still a good team,” he said. “They just need a bit of consistency, which every team tries to get. They had a good win over Leeds and then it’s a little bit up and down.

“I think they’ve got the players there. We were put under a fair bit of pressure in the first half and the second as well.

“It’s just little bounces of the ball, little key things, and if those things come off for you it’s a different game.”

Sunday’s match was particularly poignant for Menzies, marking his first appearance at Bradford as an opposition player.

“It’s always good to be back here,” he said. “It was really nice to get a cheer from the supporters so I wanted to go and give them a clap at the end. I just want to say thanks back to them for showing their appreciation."
