Bradford Bulls are leading the way for the rest of Super League.
They are the first professional club to become affiliated with a wheelchair rugby club following the successful launch of the Bulls wheelchair team.
Competing in the Wheelchair Championship, the team are also Club Mark registered through the Rugby Football League.
Gill Johnson, Bradford Bulls wheelchair rugby manager, said: “On behalf of the club, I would like to thank Peter Hood and Ryan Duckett for having the vision and giving us the chance to be Bulls.
“We take great pride in that the Bulls were the first professional rugby league club to have a wheelchair rugby league team.
“I would also like to thank the Bradford Bulls Foundation for taking us under their umbrella.
“You can be sure we will do all we can to make the club, the Foundation and the supporters proud.”
The team have 22 players but hope to attract new recruits as they push for promotion to the Super League.
