Vice-captain Jamie Langley insists the Bulls can exploit St Helens’ involvement in the inaugural International Origin match.

Six Saints players are set to take part in Friday’s showpiece event at Headingley before taking the field at Odsal just two days later.

James Graham, Jon Wilkin and Michael Shenton will feature for England, while Francis Meli, Sia Soliola and Tony Puletua have been selected to represent the Exiles.

And although Langley believes Bradford cannot factor their involvement into preparation for Sunday’s game, he hopes it could still play a part.

He said: “Common sense tells you it’s going to affect you, having to play two games in three days. There’s bound to be some kind of effect physically.

“Obviously when you get to game day, the adrenaline kicks in and you probably won’t notice it too much.

“But if we use that to our advantage, try to keep possession off them as long as possible and move them about a little bit, hopefully the petrol tanks will empty a little quicker than they usually do.

“We can’t rely on that to happen. If we keep dishing ball over to them, they’re going to have fresh legs.”
