Bulls chairman Peter Hood has every faith in Mick Potter to steer the club towards the play-offs.

Hood admits recent results have become a concern but will not be rushed into a knee-jerk reaction.

Bradford have slipped to 11th in Super League on the back of a five-game winless run, culminating in a huge 58-14 defeat to Warrington on Sunday.

But the board remain fully behind head coach Potter and will give him the time needed to carry out the rebuilding process embarked upon during the off-season.

“Everyone is concerned and I’m sure the players and coaching staff are focused on improving the situation and doing what is required,” said Hood.

“Of course it’s disappointing and I understand where that disappointment comes from, as I’m sure the entire football department does.

“Things have not gone right on the field but I’m absolutely confident in Mick’s ability, 100 per cent. There’s no question of any changes as far as the coaching set-up is concerned.

“We have every confidence in the football department and I’m more than confident we will still get into the top eight.”

Hood insists the Bulls have explored every avenue possible in a bid to address on-pitch struggles.

But an attempted loan bid for Hull KR’s Willie Mason turned out to be a non-starter due to the player’s lack of interest, while similar talks with other Super League clubs have also reached dead-ends.
