Incoming Bulls boss Mick Potter carried out a demoltion job on his future club as his St Helens side won 60-12 at Knowsley Road.

The writing was on the wall right from the start when Ade Gardner scored in the left corner only moments after Jamie Foster had a try ruled out.

Scott Moore crossed the whitewash soon after before Jon Wilkin and Foster added further tries in a disastrous first quarter.

James Roby and Kyle Eastmond touched down further scores before the break, Foster converting four of the first-half tries.

It continued in the same vein in the second half, Jonny Lomax, Matty Ashurst and Tony Puletua all grabbing tries before Wilkin claimed his second, Foster improving all of them.

The Bulls finally got off the mark when Rikki Sheriffe finished a decent move with eight minutes left and Mike Worrincy added a well-taken effort three minutes later.

But Foster completed the scoring with his second try of the night.
