The Bulls slumped to a seventh straight defeat in all competitions after losing 28-22 to Hull FC.

For long spells it looked as if they could end their run, coming back from 22-6 down at half-time to level the scores with 20 minutes remaining.

But once more they came up short, the game decided by a late piece of magic from Jordan Tansey.

The opening half couldn't have been much worse, even though Bradford had ended the first quarter still level, Chris Nero's try cancelling out an earlier effort from Tom Briscoe.

Slack defence meant openings came far too easily for Hull and both Tansey and Danny Tickle sliced through to score.

A forgettable 40 minutes was capped off a minute before the break when Paul Sykes had a pass ruthlessly picked off by Kirk Yeaman for an interception try.

But the momentum switched completely on Brett Kearney's 42nd minute try, the full back cutting an angled line to score in the corner.

Nero powered through a crowd of players to get himself on the scoresheet for a second time before Danny Addy showed some great footwork to claim his first Super League try and level the scores.

But the game was settled when Tansey returned a kick from Sykes 70 metres and produced a superb off-load to send in Craig Hall.
