Steve McNamara insists the Bulls will have no worries with tomorrow’s early start at Castleford.

Kick-off at the Jungle has been pushed forward four hours to 11.30am to avoid clashing with England’s World Cup game on television.

But McNamara has no concern about the morning shift as the Bulls eye their first win in six outings.

“A lot of players prefer to get up and get the job done as there is a lot of hanging around on game day,” he said.

“We have had to make some adjustments to our practice and have spoken in great detail about our individual preparation. But the players seem really comfortable with it.”

The coach is boosted by the return of skipper Andy Lynch, three weeks after knee surgery. Jamie Langley is also back following his quad strain.

Michael Platt returns from a two-game ban but there is no Nick Scruton following his injury against Warrington.

McNamara has leaned heavily on youth in recent weeks and expects the unsung rookies to play their part once again.

He said: “They will get another chance. Even with Jamie Langley and Andy Lynch back in the squad, we will still need a couple of those youngsters and maybe more if we feel that’s the way to go.

“They are gaining valuable experience and you only get that by being out there.”

Cas would move within a point of the eighth-placed Bulls with a third win on the bounce. But McNamara said: “There are nine games to go and 18 points to play for, so it’s too early to be writing too much into this game.

“I can remember some great games against Castleford, both from when I was playing and since I have become the coach here.

“We have had some great encounters that the supporters love but our sole aim is to get the two points.”
