Bradford moved back up to fifth in Super League after a clinical 40-4 win against Hull KR.

The Bulls' ascent never looked under threat as they scored six tries to hop back above the visitors' cross-city rivals Hull FC.

The writing had been on the wall within the opening 12 minutes as Bradford scored twice to establish a 12-0 lead.

Andy Lynch powered over the line in typical fashion and Elliott Whitehead capped an impressive break by dummying Shaun Briscoe to touch down.

Seeming to lose their spark for the remainder of the half, the Bulls relied on Matt Orford to kick two penalties after the break to extend their advantage.

But they threw off the shackles in style in the final quarter.

Rikki Sheriffe scored twice, the first after a break by Mike Worrincy, and the second coming after a sweeping move.

Brett Kearney also scored before Rovers had Jake Webster sent off for a reckless tackle on James Donaldson and then grabbed a consolation through Ben Cockayne.

But Kearney added a final flourish following another super break from Whitehead and Orford kicked all eight of his attempts on goal in a flawless display with the boot.
