SCHOLARSHIP star Lewis Camden has been named in the England Youth squad to take on Wales Under-16s at Stebonheath Park on Saturday, August 31.

Camden, who this week put pen to paper on a professional deal with the club, has impressed as part of the Scholarship side under Mark Dunning in 2018.

Head coach Dunning has paid tribute to Camden's attitude and willingness to learn following his inclusion.

"I am absolutely delighted for Lewis, he is a tenacious guy with a heart of a lion," said Dunning.

"He has a real willingness to learn and he is keen and he will always ask me what he can do differently.

"He has a good work ethic and is really committed to learning and developing his game.

"He got in the National Youth performance squad and now he has been given the nod so good luck to him."

Camden could feature in the final Scholarship game of the season next week, with Castleford Tigers the visitors to Odsal Stadium.

Entry is just £3 for adults, £1 for concessions and juniors/ST Holders go free.
