BRANDON Pickersgill is looking to continue his fine form this weekend after taking over full-back duties from Ethan Ryan.

The Bradford born full-back has taken his chance as he racked up three assists and a try in the previous game against Widnes Vikings.

After not featuring in a league match since the defeat to Featherstone in May, Pickersgill has grasped his opportunity after being selected by head coach John Kear, putting in two outstanding performances in two crucial Betfred Championship victories.

With a huge clash against second-placed Toulouse Olympique tonight, Pickersgill believes that the squad are full of confidence heading over to the Stade Ernest-Argelès.

He said: “It’s a difficult challenge for us, but we are really looking forward to it, we’re going there full of confidence after our two previous wins.

“They are a different beast at their place, but if we want to get into the play-offs then these are the games we have to win.

“Getting dropped is never good but in a way, it benefitted me, it made me a lot hungrier and pushed me back into the team.

“We’ve got seasoned pro’s playing at the top of their game and Jy and Keyes coming back, the feel-good factor is back around the Bulls.

“With players coming back, it also allows us to free other players such as Jordan (Lilley) up to do what he does best on the pitch, which helps us massively.

“We need to continue this impressive form if we want to be keeping our top five hopes alive, there’s three spots available and we want one of them.
