BULLS Women’s side are preparing to do battle with Leeds Rhinos Women in a mouthwatering curtain-raising clash – with joint-head coach Kirsty Moroney targeting a response from her players.

Moroney and Beth Sutcliffe’s side go into the derby on the back of a Coral Challenge Cup exit at the hands of Castleford Tigers and currently sit fourth in the Women’s Super League ladder.

With ex-players Charlotte Booth, Danika Primm and Lois Forsell in the Rhinos’ ranks, tomorrow promises to be a lively affair.

“After a couple of defeats to Castleford I feel like we have a few wrongs to right going into the game against Leeds," said Moroney.

“It's a massive game for the club and I am expecting a response to the cup defeat.”

Captain Danielle Bose has spoken of the frustration surrounding the side’s trip to Castleford, whilst acknowledging the need for an improved performance this time around.

“We are very frustrated as players with the performance we put in and to go out of the cup,” said Bose.

“We are well aware that we have to perform a lot better with another tough game on Sunday if we are to get anything out of it.”
