JAKE Webster insists the side are heading in the right direction as the Bradford Bulls continue a push for a Betfred Championship play-off spot with a trip to Leigh Centurions tomorrow.
The 34-year-old starred as John Kear’s side returned to winning ways with a 16-0 shut out of neighbours Batley Bulldogs last weekend.
Webster was part of the squad that beat Leigh Centurions 26-12 at Odsal Stadium in March in a game which kickstarted a sequence of eight successive wins.

“The season has been a bit of a rollercoaster so far some really good spells and some down times but it is promising, it is still a work in progress as we build towards the play-offs,” said Webster.
“We went from one of the biggest highs the club has had in years to a pretty low point but we now we focus on the league and that top five which is were we are aiming to be.
“Leigh represents another big challenge and I am sure they will be looking for revenge after we turned them over in March.
“The boys will be up for it and it is going to be a busy month ahead – we just need to look after our bodies and turn up on gamedays raring to go and it will stand us in good stead.
“On a personal level, the body is holding up well and the club is heading in the right direction and that is what I have come to the club for.
“I am not here to make up the numbers – I am here to make a mark on this club and help get us back to where we used to be.”
