STUDENTS at Hanson School will this weekend be raising money for sporting events being held at the school over the next two years as well as their 2020 sports trip to Argentina.

A number of athletes, badminton players, rugby players and swimmers will be holding a bucket collection in and around the stadium tomorrow, as Bradford Bulls Academy host City of Hull Academy, prior to the men's side doing battle with Batley Bulldogs.

On June 18, 20 and 24, Hanson School is holding the Hanson School Summer Games, which is an Olympics style event for over a thousand young competitors across West Yorkshire.

Bradford Bulls Foundation is helping organise the event - with rugby league, swimming, athletics, badminton, cricket and many more included in the tournament.

In October 2020, a total of 28 children will get the experience of a lifetime when they visit Argentina on an inspirational sports and cultural tour with the help of donations this Sunday.
