VYTAS Vaznys has hailed the effort of his team-mates in Sunday's thrilling 30-30 draw against Huddersfield Giants - admitting "it is good to be back" following a lengthy lay-off with injury.

Vaznys made his second start following a year out with injury in the clash with in-form Giants, having featured in the trip to London Broncos the previous week.

The rising star went over for his first try following his return, and Bradford's second of the afternoon, as they were denied the two points by a last-gasp equaliser.

Vaznys, 19, hopes the game can mark a turnaround in form and is targeting a prolonged stay in the team.

He said: "The boys dug deep all game, we started the game really well and obviously went ahead early on.

"You cannot fault the effort, coming back it is what you like to see, the rest of the boys fighting and fighting for you.

"After the poor results of previous weeks it was good to turn it around on home turf especially after Leeds.

"It is good to see everyone in high spirits and coming together - we are realising what skills we have in this team.

"It is good to be back on a personal level, I think I am still recovering after that London game but the body is feeling good.

"Hopefully we can get a roll on and hopefully I can stay in the team and get a game next week."
