BULLS Under-19s side drew 30-30 against an in-form Huddersfield Giants outfit in a pulsating, curtain-raising clash at Odsal.

The Bulls' young guns went into the clash on the back of a narrow, last-gasp defeat against London Broncos - while Huddersfield Giants were on a run of seven successive wins.

It was the home side who raced out of the starting blocks, however, and quickly established an early advantage, Ebon Scurr crashing over from close range.

Lucas Hallas and Aidan McGowan then scored to put the visitors 16-6 to the good, but Bradford battled back.

Vytas Vazyns broke from 20 metres to dive over for his first try since his return from injury - before Harry Shackleton stepped his way over on his return, and to restore the Bulls' advantage.

The lead changed hands again just after the interval, with Dom Young touching down before Beattie's side regained the lead once more.

Cameron Berry dived over from dummy half before Lochlan McGill scurried over to extend the home side's advantage.

As the game approached the final 10 minutes, Dom Young's second try of the game set up a nervy finale.

Both sides were reduced to 12 men with a player apiece getting sent off following a late fracas on the touchline.

From the resulting penalty, the visitors went over in the corner - with Joshua Pinder's kick drifting wide to ensure a share of the spoils.
