THE BULLS are on-top-of-the-world right now after snatching a win in the "Biggest Rugby League Derby on the Planet".

Kear's men showed the Betfred Championship - and everyone else for that matter - that they mean business following their Coral Challenge Cup victory against bitter local rivals Leeds Rhinos.

Over 10,000 fans turned up to watch that bumper battle and the Bulls will hope they take an army of followers to Blackpool for this year's Summer Bash.

The Bradford boys will look to get back to winning ways in the league against a tough Halifax side in a Saturday evening tie at Bloomfield Road.

If you're making the journey to the Vegas of the North, we've got you covered with this away guide.

TRAVEL

By train:

The closest station to the ground is Blackpool South, which is where you want to aim for.

From there it's a simple nine minute walk to the stadium.

And, can you believe it? You can get to Blackpool South from Bradford Interchange via a quick change.

The total journey time is around two hours and a quarter.

You'll want to get the Northern service to Preston (which comes every hour on a Saturday) and get off when it terminates.

That's eight stops and a travel time of roughly an hour and 26 minutes.

From there, you'll want to get on the Northern service to Blackpool South which takes 36 minutes.

The price of this journey costs just £9.50.

Once you alight at Blackpool South, you'll head out of the station and turn left onto Seasiders Way.

Now all you need to do is keep on this road for the full nine minutes and you'll see the stadium on your right.

By car:

As always, there's several options, but we've picked the quickest which sees you travel on the M62 and M61.

The journey typically takes between one hour and 15 minutes and one hour and 40 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Bradford city centre, you'll want to get onto the M62 heading westbound.

After around 27.2 miles, continue on the M60 before, at junction 15, taking the M61 exit to M6 N/Preston/Wigan/Bolton.

Then continue on the M61 and make sure to keep left at the fork to stay on route, following the signs for Preston.

You'll then merge on the M6.

At the 32-Broughton Interchange junction, use the left two lanes to get onto the M55.

Once on there, you'll want to keep on it until it changes to the A5230.

At the roundabout take the second exit onto Yeadon Way, which you'll want to keep following.

Your final direction is to continue straight at the second roundabout you meet to get onto Seasiders Way and after just under half a mile you'll see the stadium on your right.

PARKING

There is a car park (Lonsdale) that runs alongside the West Stand which is available for use.

This zone costs £3.50 for up to three hours, or £7.50 for up to a massive 18 hours.

If you miss out, there are several other pay-and-display car parks that surround the stadium.

These include: Seasiders Way Car Park, Hospitality Car Park, Bloomfield Road Car Park and South Shore Car Park.

The South Shore Car Park, as an example, costs £2 per two hours and up to £12 per day and has 139 spaces.

PUBS

There are several options on the nearby Lytham Road, as well as some further afield:

The Bridge: The closest of all the options at just a five-minute walk and said to be very popular. It has a 4.2 star rating from 179 reviews.

The Manchester Bar: A little further along the road than The Bridge towards the seafront, this one is said to be pretty lively. It has a number of large screens showing SkySports and sometimes has a DJ. But, be warned, prices are reportedly slightly higher than elsewhere.

The Excelsior: If you're wanting something slightly more fancy and modern this is the place for you. Still on Lytham Road but in the opposite direction to the previous two, just a six-minute walk from the ground.

Waterloo Music Bar: Slightly further afield at an 11-minute walk, but one source said this location is very family friendly. This option has an impressive 4.4 star rating from 277 reviews.

Bloomfield Brewhouse: Another option in a different direction, but still only nine minutes away. This one is probably for the beer and real ale lovers, as drinking options include beverages that have been brewed in their own microbrewery.
