JORDAN Lilley insists the Bulls squad is raring to go ahead of a crucial month of fixtures – the half-back excited by the burgeoning relationship with rising star Rowan Milnes.

The half-back pairing have starred as John Kear’s side have seen off the likes of Dewsbury Rams and Featherstone Rovers in recent weeks.

A trip to Toronto lies in waiting, with a mouthwatering Challenge Cup tie with Leeds Rhinos sandwiched inbetween that and the Summer Bash clash with yesterday's opponents Halifax.

The next period of games will prove crucial to the side’s achievements this season according to the 22-year-old, who has called on the supporters to continue backing the side to help the side get over the line.

“We have a crucial period of games coming up and we have the opportunity to pick up a lot of points in a short period of time,” said Lilley.

“The fans will be a massive part of that – they came out to Halifax in good numbers and I am sure they will pack out the stands against Barrow and Rochdale too.

“There are some really exciting games coming up for us all as a club, with a trip to Toronto, the Leeds game and the Summer Bash all in May.

“We are all looking forward to the challenge ahead and personally, I am looking forward to building the partnership I have with Rowan Milnes.

“Once we build that firm foundation and get some consistency I think the partnership will shine, we are both eager to learn and are continuing to develop.

“It is exciting times without a doubt and hopefully with the fans support we can make it a very special time too.”
