DANE Chisholm has left Bradford Bulls to join Featherstone Rovers for the rest of the season.

The 28-year-old has signed a season-long loan deal with the fellow Championship club.

Ironically, the Australian half-back scored a dramatic drop goal winner in Bulls' 17-16 victory over Rovers in the opening day of the Championship season back in February.

He will be hoping to be in The Colliers' squad for their clash with York City Knights on Good Friday.

Chisholm was Bulls' leading try scorer during the 2018 promotion season in Betfred League One. He missed the Coral Challenge Cup fifth round clash between the two sides on Sunday as he was given the weekend off to attend a wedding.

In a statement, Bulls said: "The club would like to thank Dane for his efforts so far this year and wishes him the best of luck for the remainder of 2019."

Chisholm, who has enjoyed two spells at Odsal, said: “I can’t wait to get playing.

“It’s already a team with a strong squad, so hopefully I can just add a bit of structure and experience.

Chisholm was team-mate of Rovers head coach Ryan Carr during their spell at Balmain Tigers.
