LEWIS Adams' last-gasp try sealed a stunning comeback by the Bulls' Scholarship side - who trailed by 10 points with 10 minutes remaining - to win 28-24 in a pulsating encounter with Newcastle Thunder.

A fast start by Bulls' Scholarship side saw them race into an early 10-0 lead courtesy of Jayden Wright and Kieran Lupton scores.

The visitors hit back to lock the scores up at the break, before racing into the lead with two quick-fire tries early in the second-half.

Both sides traded tries with the Young Bulls trailing by 10 points heading into the final stages.

In stunning fashion, Lewis Camden, David Kamano and Lewis Adams all crossed to seal a dramatic comeback for a first win of the season.

The Young Bulls were edged out in agonising circumstances last time out and set their stall early on with an explosive beginning to proceedings.

Jayden Wright crashed over from close range following a troubling Camden kick, with the home side enjoying sustained pressure on the Thunder line.

Kieran Lupton was the next to trouble the scoreboard, with two Newcastle players no match in defence with the on-rushing forward wrestling his way over for an early 10-0 lead.

Back-to-back Newcastle scores levelled things up at the interval, with the visitors starting the second-half in the same vein they ended the first.

Two quick, successive scores established a 20-10 lead to stun the home side, who responded with a David Kamano score following a slick passage of play down the right edge.

Despite hopes of a Bradford comeback following the Kamano score, the visitors were next to go over following a error from the hosts on the restart.

There were just 10 minutes left but Dunning's Scholars responded and finished with a flourish - Camden's try - a beautiful drop of the shoulder - kickstarting the comeback.

Another fast, flowing move down the right hand side led to Kamano locking the scores up once again with his second try of the game.

With a scrum on the Thunder 10-metre line, an inventive move fed Lewis Adams to race clear and dive over in the corner to seal the spoils and delight the sizeable crowd in attendance at the Neil Hunt Memorial Ground.
