TRAVEL

The main concern for the big day is how to get there, how long it will take to get there, and where on earth you’re going to park...

Train:

As is usually the case, you'll want to get to Leeds Railway Station first of all.

From here you'll need to take a train to Widnes Railway Station.

There's several options on a Sunday here, with some requiring more changes than others.

One of the options with the least changes is to get off at Newton-le-Willows where you'll then catch a replacement bus service to Widnes Railway Station.

All options require you to take the replacement bus service from whichever station you change at.

The journey can take up to, or just over three hours, so leave with plenty of time.

Widnes Railway Station is then a 22 minute walk from the stadium.

Or you can get the 17 bus from the nearby station alighting at Milton Road (9 stops) for an eight minute walk to the ground.

By car:

This journey takes just over an hour depending on traffic.

From the centre of Bradford - the quickest route is to aim for the M62.

You'll want to head towards Manchester/Huddersfield on the M62 and stay on there for 31 miles.

Follow on the M60 for seven miles before exiting at junction 12 toward Liverpool/Chester.

Here you'll continue for 17 miles before taking the A57/A570/A557 exit to Prescot/St.Helens/Widnes.

At Rainhill Stoops Interchange, take the first exit onto Warrington Road/A57 Warrington.

Then turn right onto Wilmere Lane/B5419, before you'll turn right onto Lunt's Heath Road/A5080.

At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Birchfield Rd/B5419 and then turn right onto Highfield Road.

You'll want to continue onto Lower House before taking two left turns onto Lower House Lane where you'll see the stadium.

PARKING

There is no on-site parking, so the best place to park is on Caldwell Road which is a two minute walk from the stadium.

There are lots of streets in and around the ground too which can be parked on.

PUBS

There are a host of options to the west of the ground which can be found one after another pretty much.

But here’s a selection of what is closest:

The Cricketers Arms: Also known as "Leggies" this is located on Milton Road and is basically right next to the ground - it has a 4.2 star rating from 37 reviews.

The Doctors Pub: This is situated on Victoria Road - serving traditional alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a relaxed environment and is only a ten-minute walk from the Halton Stadium.

The Albion: This is located on Lower House Lane, and is just a ten-minute walk from the Halton Stadium offering a great environment for Bradford Bulls supporters to congregate prior to the action taking place.
