MATTY Wildie insists the Bulls are eager to reward the ‘massive’ support John Kear’s men have received – admitting the fans played a key part in the Yorkshire Cup triumph against Batley last time out.

The former Featherstone Rover showcased his versatility in the defeat against Toulouse, forming a stand-in half-back partnership with Elliot Minchella.

Wildie looks set to feature in the halves once more, alongside Jordan Lilley – reforming a partnership that was forged at the LD Nutrition Stadium.

Another tough test awaits in Matt Diskin’s men, with the 28-year-old believing a turnaround in form is just around the corner.

“It is without doubt another tough test and another game where we will need to put in a better performance in order to get the points,” said Wildie.

“We need to stick together as a team and stick to the game-plan, keep working hard for each other and the results will come.

“There is a lot of fixing up to do but we need to maintain the level we showed against Toulouse and the longer we can stay in games the more likely we are to get the win.

“I played with Jordan in the halves at Featherstone and we will be able to help each other – we will give everything we have got to get a good result.

“Batley will throw everything at us and we saw from the Yorkshire Cup Final how difficult a game it will be.

“The supporters have been massive for us this year and as a squad we are disappointed not to have got the results for them. If they can turn up in numbers again that will be massive.”
