A YOUNG Bulls reserves lost 36-18 in a pre-season friendly at Hunslet.
The Leeds-based hosts - who included former Bradford hooker Vila Halafihi in their ranks - proved too strong in what was their final warm-up game before their League One programme starts next Sunday.
Bulls took the chance to blood plenty of under-19s, though Ashley Gibson was among the handful of senior players, with the centre making his comeback from injury.
Hunslet led 20-0 at the break and increased their lead to 36 points before Bulls scored three late tries in a strong finish.
Lochlan McGill went over before Bradley Gallagher latched on to a clever Cobi Green kick for the second try.
Matty Storton crossed for the final try following a break by Josh Rickett.
BULLS: Stephenson, Rickett, Culling, Gibson, Foggin-Johnston, Milton, Green, O'Sullivan, Doyle, Foster, Hodgson, Storton, Wood. Subs: Butterworth, Littlewood, Lightowler, McGill, Scurr, Gallagher.
