BULLS Women's squad will include 11 new signings and 10 Bradford-based players this season.

Formed in 2017, Bulls’ Women enjoyed unprecedented success - finishing their debut season unbeaten having won the inaugural Challenge Cup, League Leaders Shield and Super League titles.

The Womens’ Super League has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2017 – with Wakefield Trinity the latest to submit a Women’s team into the eight-team strong competition.

Amy Hardcastle, Shona Hoyle and Jess Courtman were three of 11 players retained from the 2018 roster and as Kirsty Moroney and Beth Sutcliffe prepare for their first year as joint-head coaches – there is optimism about the Women's chances this year.

Moroney said: “I am really happy with how pre-season has progressed with the new squad so far, we have a young enthusiastic squad having recruited well and retained key players from last season.

“We feel we have a great mix this year, recruiting well in the off season was a real focus for us and we now have a strong core of Bradford-based players in the squad too.

“That is a particular positive for us and we have signed a number of exciting young players such as Bailey Alexander and Hannah Donald from Wibsey – continuing to build strong links with the community clubs in Bradford.”
