BULLS have confirmed the arrival of prop Olsi Krasniqi on a one-month loan from Championship rivals Toronto Wolfpack.

As reported in the T&A last week, the 26-year-old's capture will strengthen the Bradford pack and he is in contention to make his debut in Friday’s trip to Sheffield Eagles.

Albanian-born Krasniqi boasts Super League experience thanks to spells with London Broncos and Salford Red Devils prior to his move to the Wolfpack last year.

Head coach John Kear was keen to bolster his front row following injuries to three props.

He said: “We obviously lost Ross (Peltier), Callum Bustin and Oliver Wilson in pre-season so when the opportunity came to move for Olsi we did so straight away.

“He is very athletic and very quick and with over 100 games in Super League under his belt, I think he will be a really good addition to the squad.

“Obviously he has experience at the higher level but he played in the Championship last season with Toronto and he knows how tough it is and what is required to win games in this division.

“He knows what it is like to play for a big team and be hunted. When opposing teams play us it is a big occasion for them but he will be used to that.

“Ultimately it is to reinforce our squad and make sure we have the correct amount of players to cope with the demands of Championship rugby.

“I believe he will prove to be an invaluable addition to the squad and I am sure the fans will enjoy watching him play in the red, amber and black of Bradford.”
