THE Bulls have confirmed Steve Crossley as their captain for 2019.
Crossley, who is due to make his pre-season bow on Sunday at Batley, took over the honour last season from Lee Smith.
Coach John Kear said: “Steve leads through deed, he really rolls his sleeves up and leads through action.
“I thought he was superb in 2018 and I think he will do a great job for us again in 2019.”
Elliot Minchella, another local lad, will be the vice-captain after a campaign which saw the former West Bowling product rack up 33 tries.
Kear said of the 22-year-old: “He’s another local lad who loves playing for Bradford. He has grown as a leader throughout last season.
“I think it’s only right that Bradford lads lead the Bradford team and that’s what’s happening.”
