KURT Haggerty has signed for the Bulls on a one-year deal following his departure from Leigh Centurions.

The second-rower or loose forward will add to Bradford's options in the pack and will seek to establish himself in Jimmy Lowes' top seventeen.

The 26-year-old played 19 times for Leigh last season and scored four tries.

He also featured for Ireland in the 2013 World Cup and said: “It was a deal that I was really keen to sign and to seal, and now I’m really pleased to be here.
“I was actually a Bradford fan as a kid when I was a St Helens junior, I was always turning up in Bradford kits. So there was always a bit of love for the club before I even arrived.
“I’m really made up to be here and I’m going to work hard to get my place in the team.
“I’ll work hard for the lads, I’ll muck in for them and I want to get the club back in the Super League.”
“We are delighted to have Kurt on board,” said the Bulls managing director Steve Ferres.
“He had a great season at Leigh last year and he’ll add competition amongst the back row.”
