The Bulls aim to make the Provident Stadium a sea of red tomorrow night to raise awareness of the Eve Appeal.

Fans are being asked to wear red clothing and a number of red activities will be happening around the ground.

The Eve Appeal is a charity which raises funds for research of gynaecological cancers at the same time as increasing awareness of the illness.

With a shocking mortality rate of 41 per cent and with some symptoms hard to spot, the Bulls are keen to stress the importance of regular screenings.

Non-executive director Kate Hardcastle said: “With women making up 40 per cent of the fan base at the Bulls, it is vital to use this opportunity to get the message about gynaecological cancers heard loud and clear.

“19,000 women will be diagnosed this year with gynaecological cancer and 7,500 of these women will not survive.

“We need to stress the importance of regular screenings and do our bit to ensure ground-breaking research of the condition continues.”

A collection will be taking place at tonight’s match.
