Steve Williams has sealed an improved deal to stay at City long-term.

The giant centre half has impressed since joining from non-league Bamber Bridge last summer, earning a new three-year deal.

City had already taken up an option in Williams' original contract that would have kept him at the club next season but manager Peter Taylor was keen to tie down the talented 23-year-old's future.

The club have also sealed a deal for Academy graduate Ryan Harrison, who made his first-team debut at Macclesfield on Easter Monday.

The 18-year-old midfielder has earned a one-year deal and he is soon expected to be joined by youth team goalkeeper Chris Elliott in agreeing terms on a first professional contract.
