ALEX Jones and Omari Patrick both made their City comeback from injury this afternoon.
Jones and Patrick played a half each for the development side in a 2-0 defeat at Rotherham.
Jones, who last featured against Plymouth on November 11, tweeted afterwards: βItβs been a long four months out but it was great to get 45 minutes under my belt. Onwards and upwards.β
Former Sheffield United midfielder Cameron Hawkes, who has joined on a one-year deal, had City's best effort well saved by home keeper Lewis Price.
