JASON Kennedy has confirmed that his time at Bradford City is over.

The midfielder, whose Valley Parade contract was up, said on Twitter: “I’d like to thank everybody for some great memories. The staff, the boys and the fans (are) top class and (I) wish you all the best.”

Kennedy is expected to join Carlisle, where he finished last season on loan. He played a key role in helping them stave off the drop in League Two with three goals in 11 appearances.

The 28-year-old, signed by Phil Parkinson in 2013, played 37 games for City and scored three.

City have already released Matty Dolan and taken up the second-year option on Chris Routis.
