St Bede’s Catholic Grammar School and Queensbury School have notched a double success in Yorkshire nine-a-side rugby league competitions.
Queensbury won the Year Eight event, while St Bede’s triumphed at Year Ten level.
St Bede’s backed up their success of the previous year with an unbeaten run over Thornhill, Cleckheaton’s Whitcliffe Mount (both Kirklees), Horbury, Ossett (both Wakefield) and Brigshaw (Leeds).
Queensbury, meanwhile, overcame a strong Balby Carr (South Yorkshire) team, having had an earlier victory over Carlton (North Yorks).
