WEST Bowling staged a spectacular comeback to win the Yorkshire Junior League Under-12s' Division Two championship 32-28 at home to Brighouse Rangers.
Bowling scored tries through Lewis Knopwood and Sam Sharpe as they trailed 18-10 at the break and were deep in trouble when Brighouse added a further ten points to the total with 15 minutes to go.
But a rousing pep talk from coaches Jason Woolham and Joe McGuinness helped West's turn the tables, with three quick touchdowns coming from Owen Peacock, Kieron Brining and Dan Wood.
With just seconds remaining, Bowling then clinched victory when Knopwood crossed for his brace and Jack Sutcliffe added the extra two points.
