Two players from the Bradford region came through district trials to gain representative honours for Yorkshire Under-17s at rugby union.
They were hooker Tom Massey, from Beckfoot School, who plays for Baildon RUFC, and winger Adam Wellington, who attends Bingley Grammar School and plays for Bradford & Bingley RUFC.
Tom has been playing at Jenny Lane since he was eight, while Adam has been at Wagon Lane a year longer!
Yorkshire Under-17s won all four of their games this season - against North Wales Academy, Eastern Counties, Lancashire and, finally, Cheshire. The pair are pictured after the Cheshire match.
* An eye for an opening by replacement fly half Joe Ford (Rishworth School) helped England Under-18s to third place in the AER (Association Europeene de Rugby) Championship in Treviso, Italy.
It was his pass to Nico Fraser that set up Matt Keyte for the chip that created the try for Jordan Davies as Italy were beaten 21-5. Ford, who came on at 7-0, also added two conversions.
