Keighley's Taekwondo School of Excellence boasts seven new Black Belts and two new 2nd Dan Black Belts following the National Grading at the TAGB Bristol Academy.
All the students have been training hard for at least four years for this but this year's crop has a family flavour.
Dr Helen Livingstone, who works as a consultant for Manorlands hospice at Oxenhope, has been training alongside her children Megan, 13, and Bill, ten.
Helen, no stranger to sporting success as a member of Leeds- Bradford Triathlon Club, said of her family's achievements: "We were delighted to achieve this together - it's a fantastic feeling - plus we were all able to help each other combat a few nerves as the big day approached!"
Also keeping it the family were Georgina Walker and her son Ben, who have trained together for nearly seven years. Ben achieved his 1st Dan Black Belt and mum gained a 2nd Degree award.
