East Bowling All Stars under-13s lived up to their name in the Huddersfield RCD Junior League, thrashing Norristhorpe 16-1.

Jordan Hobson led the way with eight goals, others coming from Lewis Lofthouse (2), Jack Stead, Luke Leedham, Bradley Oliver, Ebony Benjimin, Sonny Thompson and Jake Gibson.

Leedham, keeper Jake Gibson, Sam Virr, Rajan Dhillon and Daniel Walker shone in a dominant team performance.

Bradford Park Avenue under-16s were not quite so all powerful but still defeated YMCA 6-1 in Division Two.

After going behind midway through the first period, Avenue played some great football in the driving rain, Liam Hastie and Eli Petschak netting before half-time.

Avenue were in total control in the second half and further goals came from Ciaran Rayner, Chris Wilkinson, Harry Birro and Tom Adamson.

East Bowling under-14s saw off West End 5-1, goals coming from Ryan Pogson, Dario Di Franchesco, David Moynahan, Adam Akalach and Rowan Newman. Adam Helliwell, Newman, Shaun Syms and Ellis Coates had excellent games.

Wibsey Lions cemented third place in Division 2B with a 7-1 victory at Scholes United, Connor Rhodes bagging a quick-fire hat-trick before half-time, other marksmen being Ryan Archer (2) and Josh Thompson (2).

Man of the match Mudiwa Tegama shone in defence, as well as setting up chances at the other end and nearly scoring himself.

Wyke Wanderers under-11s took the lead in the second half at Dewsbury Rangers with a 25-yard free-kick from Sam Wainman.

Wanderers keeper Dylan Silson had helped to keep the scores level up to that point with a couple of point-blank saves. However, Rangers went on to win 3-1.

Unbeaten visitors Drighlington A led 3-0 at Wibsey Lions A in Under-Ten Division One but the hosts roared back to draw 4-4 in a superb match. Jacob McLoughlin got a hat-trick for the Lions, Owen Khan working hard for the other goal.

Jack Hewitt-Hill made some important saves for Wibsey, while Connor Barran made some great tackles and clearances.

Ben Kerwick was determined in midfield, while Travis Wardman struggled against the strong Drighlington attack but stuck to his task well.

The B match was also a thriller and also ended in a thrilling draw, this time 2-2 after Drighlington B had led 2-0.

McLoughlin came off the bench to net the Lions’ goals after Khan, Liam Prescott and Nathan Aylott had gone close.

Darren Greenhough made some good saves and man of the match Hewitt-Hill some crucial challenges.

Stan was the man for Wyke Wanderers under-eights in their 10-1 win at Cleckheaton.

Man of the match Stan Cahill bagged a treble, other marksmen being Reece Clay (2), Jack Leach, Ellis Farrar, Reuben Sutcliffe, Jacob Smith and an own goal, under pressure from Matthew Leaper.

Cleckheaton’s keeper pulled off some excellent saves but Wyke’s hard work in training was rewarded.

Wanderers’ B team lost 6-2 to a strong Gomersal outfit.

Sutcliffe and Farrar, with a 25-yard shot, scored for Wyke. Joint men of the match for them were Loui Cook and Logan Jean-Jacques.

Bradford Tigers under-16s gave a great second-half performance in defeating visitors Menston 6-2 in the Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League.

The hosts led 3-2 at half-time, with all the goals coming in the first ten minutes.

Pick of the six were Danny Boyd’s far-post header from a great curling free-kick from Matty Knights, and Joe Stewart’s left-footed strike from outside the area.

The other goals came from Zubair Shakeel (2), Lewis Dickinson and Mahine Malik, with Stewart taking the match point and Malik the managers’ match point.

Bradford Tigers under-15s almost pulled off an unlikely draw at Shipley Lions in Division B.

The Lions led 2-1 at half-time, only bad luck for the Lions and fine goalkeeping by Jordan Robinson keeping the margin so close.

Lucas Clayden netted for the Tigers but they trailed 4-1 before Luke Duckett’s brace, after which both sides had chances.

Duckett’s second came after a good effort by Zivo Takavarasha was saved.

Division 15D is proving very competitive this season, with teams taking points off each other as witnessed by Nab Wood’s 2-2 draw at Myrtle Thistles.

Nab Wood’s solid back four of Jordan Baxter, Jordan Fletcher, Charlie Hague and Harry Taylor could not prevent two Myrtle goals, while at the other end Nab Wood were left to rue missing too many opportunities, although Myrtle’s keeper was a star performer.

Nab Wood’s goals came from Ben Higgins and Jack Partington, while Nick Hutton was their man of the match.

Bradford Park Avenue Hawks under-11s had their wings clipped by well-organised visitors Silsden, who won 6-1 in the final pool qualifying game.

However, the scoreline did flatter Silsden as the the hosts failed to convert chance after chance in both halves.

Man of the match Daniel Heggs finally got a late reply after a stunning run and calm finish from inside the box, while Jaanas Khan was unlucky from the penalty spot in the second half.

Solid performances from George Wood at the back, and Kieran Sanders and Jack Halmshaw in midfield couldn’t turn the tide.

Albion under-eights continued their fine run in the Keybury Junior League with a 4-1 victory at Wilsden.

Captain Joshran Singh Hayer scored two before Jnai Trought added another to his season’s tally.

Wilsden pulled a goal back after the break but Albion secured the win when Raushan Singh Sandhu netted the fourth after good work from Casey Breaks.

Bradford Park Avenue Raptors under-nines got back to winning ways with a 3-1 victory at Shipley Jaguars in a closely-contested game.

The home side took a deserved lead but Kieron Heptinstall’s stunning strike from outside the box dragged the Raptors back into the game before half-time.

The second-half deadlock was broken by Vincent Henderson’s shot into the top corner, solid defending from Michael Noble, Oliver Welsh and Joseph Clancy then ensuring that the Raptors held the lead.

Taylor Williams sealed the victory with a classic striker’s goal after nipping between defenders.

Avenue Scorpions under-tens felt that the trip to Blue Division leaders Queensbury Cougars was their toughest of the season, and although they matched the hosts virtually stride for stride, the visitors lost 2-0.

Bradford played uphill into a headwind in the first half but still managed to create chances.

Hamas Khan and Ali Arshad were close to scoring early on while Avenue’s back line of Jack Brima-combe, Frankie Brimacombe and Riley Healey stopped any Cougars counter-attacks developing.

Regan Davdson and Oliver Holcroft both had shots saved by the Cougars keeper, while at the other end Jack Fairlie dealt with any efforts that were fired at him.

Queensbury did take the lead just before the interval, however, but the Scorpions were undaunted in the second half, creating the majority of the early chances, the closest of which was a shot by Thomas Marshall that hit a post.

Avenue controlled the game for the first ten minutes of the second half, with the strike partnership of Thomas Marshall and Bailey Healey working well together.

But Queensbury doubled their lead with a good effort to beat the keeper at his near post.

After this Bradford dominated the remainder of the game via some great teamwork.

Any late chances by Queensbury were stopped by defenders Jack Brimacombe and second-half substitute and Scorpions’ debutant Nigel Linje.

Fairlie was chosen as Avenue’s man of the match by Queensbury’s coach.

Josh Sharp and Joel Etienne netted for the Cougars, who stretched their winning run to four games.

In the Yellow League, Queensbury Colts matched the Cougars’ played four, won four record with a 2-1 home victory against Bradford Park Avenue Lizards.

Goals for the Colts came from Sam Hainsowrth and an own goal from a corner taken by Zach Crayden-Reed.

Top-of-the-table Shipley Tigers under-nines made it three wins with a 5-0 triumph against Horsforth Broncos.

Man of the match for Tigers was Harris Dobson, while goals came from Ethan Hudson Parker (2), Courbon Carr, Sam Wilkinson and Sam Collett.

A own goal and one from Louis Price wasn’t enough for Scholemoor under-nines, who went down 3-2 to Leeds Maccabi in the Black Division.

A late equaliser cost Scholemoor under-tens all three points after Jordan Harrison had put Scholemoor in front.

Good goalkeeping from Guiseley Greens’ Tom Terry helped his team gain a 1-1 draw at Scholemoor in the Under-Ten Red Division.
