A summer of football could be in store for youngsters in central Bradford.
The West Riding County FA are looking to set up a six-a-side Bradford Community League for boys and girls in the under-ten age bracket.
Spaces are limited though, so anyone wanting to enter a team – squads must consist of no more than eight players – should apply before May 6.
Football Development Officer at West Riding CFA, Sean Regan, said: “We’re hoping to get all sorts of players involved; particularly those that struggle to travel to games with their existing clubs.”
Running for an eight week period, starting mid-June, the league will be all friendly fixtures with no points or league table.
Games will be on Saturdays at 10am-12pm and will run in partnership with Bradford Council Leisure Services, Bradford City FC Community Foundation and One in a Million.
A one-off payment of £10 will be required to help with administration costs.
Anyone interested should contact Sean Regan on 0113-2822358 or e-mail sean.regan@wrcfa.com.
