DUDLEY Hill Rangers Under-12s, playing their first Bradford & Calderdale Junior League match since November 8, showed ring rust in a 3-0 win over Rawdon Rangers.
The game was played in rain, gales and snow and Rangers dominated possession without having a cutting edge.
Nevertheless, Karl Kwedi (2) and Rhys Hadley netted from goalmouth scrambles for the leaders, who have only played seven league games and face a real backlog.
The under-eights Dudley Hill derby between Rangers Reds and Blues produced 13 goals, with the Reds leading 3-1 and trailing 4-3 before triumphing 8-5.
Oliver Wilson (4), Amraj Gill (2), Ryan Greenwood and Owen Bradley were on target for the Reds, with Tyler Seagar getting all of the goals for the Blues.
Meanwhile, Cormac O'Brien was outstanding in Rangers' under-11s' 2-1 win over Crossleys in Halifax.
