YOU have heard of cricket scores in rugby matches?

Well Crossley Juniors and Albion Sports under-nines had a rugby score in a Keybury & Calderdale League football match.

Visitors Albion ended up winning 15-10 in an incredible contest that included several spectacular goals.

Man of the match Muhammad Mustafa and Shubham Rana each scored five goals for Albion, Bobby Metcalf and Aaraon Sarai adding braces and Muhammad Murtaza a single.

Crossley took the lead, only for Metcalf to equalise, fellow defender Murtaza then putting Albion ahead, and they never looked back after that.

Skipper Mustafa, who scored 77 goals last season, provided a few assists against Crossley, while Rana showed the power of his left foot.

Bradford United have become a feeder club to Eccleshill United, and the Blues Junior Eagles made short work work of Westwood Dolphins, defeating them 10-0 in an Under-13 Craven, Aire & Wharfe Junior League Cup tie.

Billy-Lee Firth and Harrison Mercer both scored hat-tricks, new signing Connor Brandon bagged a brace, and Chris Byron and Louis Price scored with excellent shots.

The goal of the game came via a swift passing move, Vincent Henderson picking the ball up in central midfield and laying a ball wide behind the defence for Brandon to run onto and play it across the six-yard line for Firth to slot home.

New keeper Josh Willsher commanded his area and ensured a clean sheet.

Shetcliffe Rangers went down 4-1 at home to Silsden, Donrique Davis heading in a corner for the losers, whose man of the match was Maison Strangeway.

There was no shortage of goals either in the Huddersfield RCD Junior League Under-Sevens Division H clash between Bradford Warriors Blues and visitors Drighlington A, which the hosts won 7-5.

Lewis Walford-Dryden (2), Jude Moulden (2), Sam Keach, Isaac Carr and man of the match Seanne Nunney netted for the Blues, while Warriors' Whites followed up with a 4-0 win over Drighlington B in Division U, Zac Cooper, Lewis Nunney, Tyler Hirst-Booth and man of the match Keele Flynn scoring.

Both Warriors under-eights were on form at Warley Rangers, the Blues going a goal down early against the hosts' A team before winning 15-1 in Division S.

Marksmen were Harry Coup (4), Jason Duffy (3), Alfie Gibson (3), man of the match Cale Gomersall (3) and Shy Moulden (2).

That was bettered by the Whites, however, in Division F as Warley Rangers B were thrashed 18-0, Junior Bottomley (6), Adam Turner (4), Jake Lowe (3), Lleyton Wright (2), Joel Mooney (2) and man of the match Declan Puddicombe getting the goals.

Warriors under-nine Whites lost 5-1 at home to Hebden Bridge, with Jake Richardson grabbing the goal and goalkeeper Alex Kral being man of the match, while the under-tens drew for the second straight week, this time 3-3 against Warley Rangers thanks to Jack Hayes, Coby Crowther and Logan Mercer.

Warriors under-13s only had ten players at home to Norristhorpe in Division Three but that proved a minor inconvenience as the hard-working hosts won 9-2.

On target were Roberto McFarlane (4), man of the match Jordan Styslo (3), Adam Worby and Harvey Oddy in what was a superb team performance.

In Division Two, Bradford Park Avenue defeated visitors Hepworth United 3-0, including a 30-yard free-kick by Ellis Martin that any

n professional would be proud of.

Louis Randle and man of the match Jack Craven completed the tally, while the B team lost 10-0 at home to Elland, with Bradley Whyatt man of the match.;
