BRADFORD Warriors under-sevens Blues started their Huddersfield RCD Junior League season with a 12-3 win at Brighouse, man of the match Jude Moulden scoring five.

Lewis Walford-Dryden (3), Harrison Young (2), Isaac Wright and Lewis Nunney netted the other goals, while the Whites lost 7-4 to Brighouse B, Harry Young (2), man of the match Seanne Nunney and Jacob Stone being on target for the losers

There was no stopping the under-eights Blues, who trounced King Cross 22-0, with Harry Coup (7), Shy Moulden (5), man of the match Alfie Gibson (3), Cale Gomersall (2), Jason Duffy (2), Asher Smith (2) and Harley Hill-Hands getting the goals.

Isaac Carr, Joseph McCallion and Jake Richardson netted for the under-nines Whites, who lost a good game 5-3 to Deighton, Reece Fernandez-Costello winning man of the match, while the improved Warriors under-tens had a good 3-3 draw at Battyeford with efforts from Coby Crowther, Logan Mercer and Dylan Mavin.

The newly-promoted Warriors made it two wins out of two in Under-13 Division Three by defeating visitors Ryburn United Reds 9-1, with goals coming from man of the match Harvey Oddy (3), Roberto McFarlane (3), James Nyallay, Bailey Breaks and Alex Taylor-McKeown (penalty).

In Division Two, Bradford Park Avenue had a hard-fought 1-1 draw at Deighton, who took a first-half lead.

Avenue levelled in the second half when a pin-point Ellis Martin corner was headed powerfully home by man of the match Joseph Papworth.

Hosts Park Avenue had no ID cards and therefore forfeited the Division 5A & 5B derby, but they played a friendly anyway against Bradford Park Avenue B and drew a thriller 6-6, Nathan Horner (2), Ellis Martin (2), Joseph Papworth and Harrison Scothern netting for the visitors, whose man of the match was Ryder Costello.

Horsforth's goalkeeper was chiefly responsible for their 2-1 victory against Shetcliffe Rangers under-tens in the Bradford & District Keybury League.

Rangers could have been 3-0 up at half-time but they needed a Donrique Davis equaliser before losing 2-1. Rangers' man of the match was Mason Martin.
