SKIPTON'S junior captain Max Berrisford has earned a call-up to the Bradford Union side for their clash at home to Leeds on Sunday.
Berrisford has been a regular for his club, who finished third in the Division Two Scratch League, and also for Bradford's junior inter-district team.
He shot Skipton's round of the year last month with a five-under par 65.
Bradford, who drew 18-18 with East Riding at Branshaw last time out, will be keen to beat their neighbours at Bracken Ghyll to move away from the bottom end of the table.
With just one win to their name so far, they are second-from-bottom but the congested nature of the table means victory would put them level on points with Leeds, who are currently second.
Having won four out of four, Sheffield are odds on to retain their crown but, with games at York and at home to bottom side Teesside still to come, Martin Gaffney's Bradford team could still finish high up in the table.
Bradford Union team v Leeds (at Bracken Ghyll): Max Berrisford (Skipton), Mark Birkett (Baildon), Terry Brushwood (Bingley St Ives), Jordan Clements (Northcliffe), Chris Green (Cleckheaton), Rob Hillas (Bingley St Ives), Jack Lampkin (Bracken Ghyll), Jack Laybourne (Bradford), Darren Rands (Bingley St Ives), Ben Rhodes (Woodhall Hills), Oliver Tasker (Cleckheaton), Andy Town (Bingley St Ives).
