BRADFORD (Park Avenue) is looking to appoint a new lead coach for the club's academy.

Avenue have a vacancy for an academy lead coach, working with the club's players aged between seven and 18.

The Horsfall Stadium-based side advertised for the post on its Twitter.

The role will involve coaching throughout Avenue's age groups and also include adding to its work in the Bradford community through the Horsfall Community Trust.

The chosen candidate will also assist and, where appropriate, oversee player recruitment and development for Avenue's Under-7s to u18s junior academy players.

 

They will also manage a scholar group for training and match days.

Candidates must also have previous experience working in a community sports setting and previous experience working in a professional football environment.

Both a UEFA ‘B’ Licence Coaching Certificate and FA Learning Safeguarding Children Certificate are among essential qualification the club wants in its candidates for the post.

Avenue's academy is overseen by Tom McStravick (pictured), the club's academy technical director.

The closing date for applications is noon on August 31, with interviews taking place the week commencing September 6.
