Bradford & Bingley play a second successive home match in National League Two.

The Bees lost 18-10 against Manchester at Wagon Lane in atrocious conditions last weekend but coach Geoff Wappett isn't hiding behind the elements as a reason for their defeat.

He said before the clash with Nuneaton, who were promoted with the Bees in 2005-06: "I'm not using the weather as any excuse for some aspects of our performance that were poor - far from it.

"It evened things up for both sides and you have to look at how the middle of the Manchester line-out adapted.

"The lad jumping at four was immense - for me he was their man of the match.

"He was aggressive, he got after our ball, he caught everything. We just didn't start functioning.

"But we did improve after the break - little things like the way Tom Rhodes started to find touch and we didn't seem to slip off so many tackles.

"There were some encouraging signs but the lads know it was not the sort of performance we want to repeat. We know we can only get better."
