Bradford & Bingley face the biggest match of their National League Two North season on Saturday.

The Bees, who are second from bottom with 15 points, travel to basement club Waterloo, who have 13 points.

“If we can win, and we are confident, we could be within a point of safety if other results go our way – such as Hull defeating Hull Ionians,” said Bradford & Bingley’s chairman of rugby Glen Shaw.

However, the Bees must do without their unavailable skipper Ryan Wederall, while No 8 Tom Ball is an injury doubt.

On a positive note, the Bees will give a first start to Leeds loanee Lawrence Marsh in the front row but they are still awaiting international clearance for Uruguayan second row Matthias Amman.

The 25-year-old has been named in his national squad to face Italy and the United States but has not yet made the team.

When Waterloo came to Wagon Lane early in the season, the sides drew 37-37. Shaw remembered: “Tom Davidson missed seven kicks at goal for us that day, so it was a game we should have won. Mind you, we also trailed 32-19.”
