Cleckheaton, who are without Carl Mason and Iain Gordon, will be keeping a weather eye on visitors Pontefract’s dangerman Chris Planchant in North One East on Saturday.
Home club spokesman Alan Bentley said: "We faced him when he played for Birkenhead Park and he is a good back-rower, although I noticed he was on the bench last week."
