They may have lost two of their first 11 league games, but, according to coach Mark Luffman, Otley have dealt swiftly with the mental change of dropping down a division.

"We talked about this at the start of the season," said Luffman after the Cross Greeners were relegated from National League One to Two.

"In previous years, we have nearly always been underdogs in every match we have played but this season we have been favourites. That requires a different mindset and the players have adjusted quickly.

After defeats against Manchester and Stourbridge in a four-match swing, Otley have bounced back well with victories at Wharfedale and Redruth.

Luffman added: "It is the players' attitude and team spirit that have impressed me. Their defence has been great, of course, but the players have really wanted to work for each other. Their togetherness has impressed me."

The only change for the visit of Cambridge on Saturday is John Buchanan in the centre for the unavailable Robert Whatmuff.
