Wharfedale, beaten 18-0 at home by Otley last Saturday, are unsurprisingly without replacement Mark Bedworth, who suffered suspected medial ligament damage in last weekend's derby and is expected to be out for five or six weeks.
The Dalesmen therefore retain the same starting line-up in the backs at Southend in National League Two.
In fact, the full team is as began last time out, with changes limited to the bench.
Peter Altham and Frazer Lovatt cover for the props and Neil Baggett returns after a couple of week with the Foresters.
Wharfedale skipper Andy Baggett said: "We have had three tough games - Blackheath, Waterloo and then Otley - but if we play to the level we played at at Blackheath and against Otley, that physical element we had should be all right.
"We just need to concentrate on our own game against teams we know little about, such as Southend and Blaydon."
Wharfedale (at Southend): A Whaites; D Hart, C Malherbe, A Baggett, S Horsfall; L Gray, J Doherty; N Dickinson, G Hindle, C Steel, D Lister, A Capstick, D Clements, R Baldwin, A Allen. Replacements: F Lovatt, P Altham, O Renton, N Baggett.
