WIBSEY have been promoted from Yorkshire Division Four.
They sealed their rise with a 26-14 home Premier section victory over Mosborough, thereby knocking the visitors out of the equation, while fellow contenders York RI also stumbled, losing 15-10 at Bramley Phoenix.
Ossett and Wibsey, who meet on Saturday at Dimplewells Road, have therefore both been promoted, but the title is still up for grabs as Ossett, who have a double header to play against Leeds Medics & Dentists, are six points behind Wibsey with a game in hand.
Try-scorers for Wibsey were Michael Kite, Luke Wilson, Kyle Carter and Elliott Cousins, with Andy Robinson adding three conversions.
